Our group involved in synthesis of metal chalcogenides, intermetallics  and halide perovskite compounds, and try to understand their structure, bonding and physical properties using both experiments as well as theoretical calculations. These compounds are further studied for their suitability for potential applications in photocatalysis, photovoltaics, magnetocaloric and battery related materials.
